It’s been a great week!
The weather has been nice. Sunny and warm, meaning I’ve been able to get out on the road. But this is Ohio, meaning that is going to change. Next week sounds cloudy, cool, wet, and I even heard the mention of snow next Friday. Geez!
The legs are shaved, I’m getting my cycling tan.
I’m losing weight, maybe not at much as I would like. But then I need to remember that it was not gradual 20 years ago. I’m eating healthier, and trying to eat the same way I did back then. Smaller portions, more veggies and brown rice, fewer snacks. And not eating after 7pm.
I feel the leg muscles firming up.
I feel better. I have more energy, I’m sleeping well. My joints are creacking as I walk down the stairs. And I don’t have to crawl out of bed in the morning.
Overall, I think good progress is being made. Most important, I’m having a blast and I’m taking pride in what I’ve been able to see. The spark I had 20 years ago is the same today!

The internet is really a wonderful thing, and has come a long way since 2000. U have discovered these great websites where I can plan my riding routes, and it will calculate the miles and the feet of climbing. (www.routeslip.com and http://www.mapmyride.com)
