but I guess I can’t complain too much. Other folks have it worse. Definitely reminds me of South Texas and the reasons I left there to begin with. It does sound like we are going to have a beautiful weekend.
My legs have been feeling a little tired the past few day. But it seems that once I get a few minutes into the ride, I feel fine. I have actually been able to get in some productive miles the past few days.
I am going to go for my first race this weekend, Team Dayton Renaissance Crit, in Waynesville. I’m going to race with the Masters 45+. Should be a good start for me. It should be easier than Masters 35+ (which seems to be common for Masters in this area) or the 3/4 or 4/5. I think I should do fairly well, though I know I’m not going to set the course of fire. I just want to get a race under my legs!
