Either way, it had to be a Donato.
I was anxious to see the jury house’s reaction to Zach’s appearance. I was not surpised, and truthfully, glad to see their reaction to their almost hero. Their Knight in Shining Armour, returning from the lost battle. Revered as the hero he almost was. Again, kudos to Zach for what he almost did.
This unfolded the way CBS wanted it to. They even wanted Eric to vote for Dick.
He did make some good points in voting for Dick:
- Daniele was a whinny brat since week two
- Daniele rode her father’s coattails the whole way.
- Dicks best move was targeting the correct person at the right time consistently.
- Daniele’s best move was letting her dad take the bullets for her.
- Dick won 3 HoHs and won the veto that saved his own life.
I do think Eric would have won if he had been allowed to play his game. Screw America’s playa!
The hamsters had the opportunity to pose questions to the Donatos. And we saw the same Donatos. Dick’s bluntness, and Danielle being a superficial, whinny bitches. I could not help but laugh when she was saying what she has learned from them the others guests. I saw right thru her answers, and I suspected the jury did as well.
- Dick said he didn’t really think anyone else deserved to be in the final two aside from Eric and maybe Zach who turned up the heat near the end.
- Amber asked Daniele why she deserved her vote considering the things she did with Nick while her boyfriend watched from home – to which Daniele replied, “If your basing your vote on my personal life, than I don’t even want your vote.” Sorry Mamber, thats kind of like the pot called in the kettle black isnt it.
Dick’s responses pissed Daniele who said how “crappy” she though her dad’s responses were, but the edit didn’t really go into much detail. We saw more on the live feed. Daniele getting annoyed with Dick prompted him to say, “Great, something else for her to be pissed at me about!”
We then go to the vote, and Jen has the best last statement:
Honestly…I’d prefer to vote for anyone besides either of you in the house.”
The Jury finally learned about America’s Player. He did look relieved that the secret was out, as if the web of deceit and lies was lifted from him. He just looked thankful to clear his name with the players.
He also let Dustin and Amber know that he would have never turned on them if it wasn’t for America. (It would have been a different game. Dick would be gone instead of Dustin, and Danielle would have gone hasdhe used that power of veto) Then he let Jessica know that the between them 100% genuine and not some directive from the nation.
For me the real suprise was Jen’s vote. I expected jealousy toward Danielle dicate her vote. Maybe she still resented havng the tea dumped on her head.
When this season started, and as it progressed, I never would have thunk it. That someone who acted so cruelly and so hatefully would be rewarded for his actions,
Jurors refered to Dick’s being a dick as strategy. But lets be honest, he has to be this way everyday. That was not strategy, there was no acting involved. His son even confirmed this when Julie asked him, “Is your dad really like this?” and he said, “Yeah, pretty much.” Sorry to offend anyone, but did you see his mother? Looks like Tommy Lee’s mom as well. “Rode hard and beat ugly”
I’m pissed that this homophobic, farting, spitting, cursing, obnoxious, abusive, tattooed, chain smoking SOB can win a half a million dollars for being a complete bastard. Yes, life can be unfair.
But then, this is what CBS wanted. They got their designated winner, and their deignated whinner as runner up
It will be interesting to do an occasional google search to see how life for the Donatos fares after they return to their every day lives. I think two media monsters have been created. Maybe good. Maybe bad. Somehow I do think we will hear more from them, and possibly see a testament of their true character, away from Big Brother.
