We finally has two nice days this past weekend where we had sun and temps in the 80’s! Too bad I could not take full advantage of it since I was on call, and though I did not expect any pages, it would be hard to explain why I was 30 miles out and it would be awhile before I could log in to look at any issues. Still I managed to get in some decent productive miles, even for city riding.
Yesterday started out nice, but by the time I got home, it was raining and in the mmid 50’s. Knowing I would feel guilty if I had not done something, I went to a drop in at 6PM. First time Ive been on the ice in 6 weeks. It took me a while to get back into it, but I was pleased with the way I played. Speaking of hockey, my old Sunday team in 0-3 in the current session. Oh well.
I have finally gone under 180 pounds. I’ve been a lot more carefully of what I’m eating, and I’ve started taking whey protein twice a day, in the morning and just before bedtime. I’ve heard that taking it at bedtime helps kick in the growth hormones. After a week, I believe it, I’m losing weight and have become more vascular.
