First off, the Cruiser. Transmission is being rebuilt, we’re out 2200 bucks. Geez.
We made the trip to Louisville. Overall, it was a nice trip, although it was a long day. David’s dad let us borrow his truck. We left here at 7:30 AM, and got into Louisville at 10:30 AM
Along the way, just out of Louisville, I found my namesake town on I-71
We stopped at the Joe Ley Antique store. We a great antique store. I could have spent the entire day shopping there. If you are ever in the Louisville area..make time.
As we were leaving the store, we got the call letting us know the damage. Kinda of put a damper on the rest of the day.
We went on to the RS Prussia Convention. It was good to see old friends, and make new friends. Next year the convention will be in Columbus, which will be great.
We did not come away empty handed. We got a great deal on an icicle bowl. We got this at about 8PM, and left…
After stopping in Cincy for dinner it was midnight before we got home. I had intended to get up early and get in a decent ride, but it was 8AM before I rolled out of bed, and I had way too much to do. I did get in a good ride here in the city. The plan for tomorrow is to out of bed at 6:30, wheels rolling no later than 7:30 for at least a 51 miler
Brithday weekend starts, Monday I turn 5-1!
