I woke up yesterday morning intending to ride, but we started getting off and on showers. Nothing hard, just enough to get the road wet. By the time the weather cleared up I was so beat from being out late the night before, I bagged the ride and took a long nap in the afternoon.
My return to the ice was not to bad. It was a 3-2 loss, but I was pleased with the way I played. I don’t think there was much I could have to stop the goals I gave up. I do question whether one should be allowed. The league started a new rule stating that upper tier players will only be allowed to score if their team is losing by two or more goals. We really do believe that the guy who scored the last goal was in fact their upper teir guy.
I was pulled with 45 seconds left. The other team got a penalty, so the last 30 seconds was 6 on 4. I’m quite certain that we actually scored. From the bench it was very obvious the puck when in and bounced out. Oh well, thats the way the puck bounces. Move on.
