The kids continue to play well while the vets aren’t showing up. Bottonm line, if you want to point fingers to our dismal start, start pointing at the vets.
Yes, it is early, but panic tine is here.
BTW, last night was the lowest attendance ever for a CBJ game, 10,494, And they way they over inflate their attendance, in reality, it was probaly less than 10,000.
The Jackets are DEAD LAST right now in the conference and are the 3rd worst team in the entire NHL with a game at hand on the bottom two.
Changes have been made but we are still the Suck Jackets. Can the CBJ management not blame fans for not showing up? This is year 8 on the ice and this team is still going nowhere.
We hear the same BS and we’ve heard it time and time again. Every team deals with the same issuesthe CBJ are dealin with. This team can’t get out of its own way or catch any breaks.
I didn’t try to find a new hockey team this session. I was happy subbing. I knew it would end when their regular goalie was cleared by his doctors to play again.
I was having the best session I have ever had. I had no problems with the team or anyone on it. And I didn’t think they had a problem with me. I had made some key saves, late in the game (more than a few times) that sealed the win for us.
I did miss the two games this past Sunday since we were going to be late getting back in from WV. Going into the game, we were tied for third. I had given up thirteen goals in six games, third fewest in the league.
Today, I get an email from the captain saying “thanks for subbing for us but we have found someone to finish the season”
So much for busting my tail for you in the six games I played for you. Six games was half the season. And that was with me dealing with a major Crohn’s flareup for three weeks.
And in Ohio, that means the cloudy dreary skies comes with it. Now I have to get myself motivated to get out and ride on those cool, or cold, and cloudy day!
The past two weeks have been somewhat of a bust for me, I’ve been in a lot of misery with my most recent Crohn’s flareup. I’ve gotten past it, and feel fine now. But the lack of exercise has put a few pounds on me. I’ve gotten out, but no near as much as I would have like. We had some decent weather, but I just wasn’t up to it.
I did get out for a ride yesterday. It was in the mid 60’s, clear..a beautiful day to get out and enjoy the color change on the bike trail. Too bad I didn’t have room to tkae the bike to West Virginia last weekend, THe weather would have been perfect.
